Fort Myers' Pool Resurfacing Specialists
If your pool’s surface is rough, stained, or flaking, it is time for professional pool resurfacing in Fort Myers. A&E Pools, LLC restores and transforms concrete pools throughout Southwest Florida using premium finishes, including Florida Stucco, StoneScapes, and NPT, applied by our experienced, licensed team. As a family-owned business with 10+ years of experience, we deliver results that look great, last long, and are backed by honest service you can count on.

Resurfacing is one of the most impactful upgrades you can make to your outdoor space, and one where workmanship matters most. We have served Fort Myers and communities across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota Counties since 2017, building a reputation for craftsmanship that holds up in Florida’s demanding climate. Licensed (CPC1459515), insured, and proud FSPA members, we meet rigorous industry standards on every project.
We are not a big impersonal company; the same experienced team that plans your project executes it, and our showroom lets you touch and compare actual finish samples before deciding anything. Standalone resurface or combined with Pool Tile Replacement, Pool Decking upgrades, or a full Pool Remodeling project, we make the process simple and stress-free from start to finish.

Choosing the right finish is one of the most important decisions in a pool resurfacing project. At A&E Pools, we offer three high-quality options to fit different budgets, styles, and performance expectations — and we’ll help you compare them side by side at our Fort Myers showroom. We work exclusively with finishes we trust and stand behind: Florida Stucco, Stonescapes, and NPT. We do not install Pebble Tec.
A time-tested, budget-friendly finish with a clean, classic look. Smooth underfoot and available in a range of colors, it is the choice for homeowners who want a reliable, attractive resurface without the premium price tag.
A popular mid-to-premium finish blending pebble and glass aggregate for a rich, natural appearance. More durable and visually dynamic than standard stucco, it holds up especially well in Florida’s sun and chemistry, with a luxurious, resort-like feel underfoot and a variety of color combinations.
The premium line for homeowners who want a distinctive, high-end look. NPT offers specialty plaster and aggregate blends designed for beauty and longevity, a great investment for pools that anchor your outdoor living space.
Not sure which finish is right for your pool? That’s exactly what our showroom is for. Come in and see the finishes in person, ask questions, and walk away with a clear picture of what your resurfaced pool will look like — before we ever start work. Our team will also factor in your pool’s age, current surface condition, and usage patterns to help you choose the finish that makes the most sense for your home.

Our process is designed to minimize disruption. We assess your existing surface to determine prep requirements, drain the pool, remove the old finish, prepare the shell, and apply your chosen finish in controlled conditions for proper adhesion and an even result. Heavy staining or scale on the way out? Our spraying and acid wash service handles surface prep and restoration where needed. Once cured, we refill and balance the water chemistry with Pentair equipment and walk you through care for your new surface. Most projects finish within one to two weeks depending on scope.

From our Fort Myers base we complete resurfacing projects across Lee County (Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Estero, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Beach, Sanibel Island), Collier County (Naples), Charlotte County (Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Babcock Ranch), and Sarasota County (North Port). Wherever you are, you get the same licensed team, the same quality finishes, and the same commitment to getting it right. Full coverage on our service areas page.

Outstanding experience with A & E Pools! I couldn’t be happier with the work A & E Pools did on my pool. From the beginning of the project all the way through the finishing touches, they were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was done right. A pool project is a major investment, and there are a lot of details that have to come together. A & E Pools handled the process extremely well. The workmanship was excellent, and they paid close attention to the details that really make a difference in the finished product. The finished pool looks absolutely beautiful and has exceeded my expectations. The quality of the pool finish and the overall craftsmanship really stand out. They also did a great job communicating throughout the process and addressing any questions or concerns along the way. What impressed me most was that they didn’t just disappear once the work was completed. They continued to make sure everything was right and that I was completely satisfied with the result. That kind of customer service is becoming harder and harder to find. I highly recommend A & E Pools to anyone considering building or renovating a pool. They delivered a beautiful finished product and provided the level of professionalism and service you hope for when making such a significant investment. Five stars all the way! I’m extremely happy with my new pool and would absolutely recommend A & E Pools to anyone looking for a pool company.Posted on Google![]()

Our backyard is absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t be happier. I loved working with Ely She was super helpful and professional throughout the process. Thank you!!!Posted on Google![]()

We spent months researching pool companies before choosing A&E Pools, and it was definitely the right decision. The team was easy to reach, always willing to answer questions, and kept us informed throughout the project. Seeing our backyard transformed into a space where we can relax and entertain has been incredible. Thanks to everyone involved!
The common signs: rough or sandpaper-like texture on walls and floor, visible cracks or chipping in the plaster, persistent staining that will not respond to chemical treatment, and water that feels hard to balance no matter how much chemical balancing you do. A plaster surface generally lasts 10 to 15 years depending on water chemistry and usage; if your pool is at or past that range with any of these symptoms, a resurface is likely the right move, and often more cost-effective than repeated patching.
Florida Stucco is a classic white plaster finish: smooth, affordable, clean-looking, the solid budget-conscious choice. StoneScapes is a pebble-aggregate finish, more durable and visually textured, in natural color blends, one of Florida’s most popular options. NPT (National Pool Tile) is the premium line with high-end plaster and aggregate combinations for a truly distinctive result. All three are at our showroom to compare in person. We do not offer Pebble Tec.
Most projects complete within one to two weeks from drain to refill. The exact timeline depends on the condition of the existing surface (heavily deteriorated plaster needs more prep), the finish selected, and weather during curing. You get a clear timeline estimate before work begins.
With proper water chemistry maintenance, a quality plaster or aggregate finish should last 10 to 20 years or more. StoneScapes and NPT finishes tend to outlast standard plaster and hold up better to Florida’s sun, heat, and chemistry swings. We walk you through surface care after installation to maximize lifespan.
