Fort Myers' Custom Patio & Hardscape Builders
Every great outdoor living space starts from the ground up. At A&E Pools, LLC, we design and install custom patios and hardscapes throughout Fort Myers and Southwest Florida, creating the durable, beautiful surfaces that anchor your pool, outdoor kitchen, and backyard together. From resort-style pool decks and stone walkways to custom entertainment areas and decorative concrete, our hardscape work sets the foundation for a backyard you will love for decades.
Your outdoor living space is only as good as the surfaces it is built on. A well-designed patio or hardscape is not just functional; it defines the look, flow, and feel of your entire backyard. We bring more than 10 years of experience and a family-owned commitment to quality to every project, and we treat your backyard like our own, because that is the only way we know how to work.
Licensed (CPC1459515), insured, and proud FSPA members, we engineer hardscapes for Florida’s climate that complement your pool and outdoor features and hold up beautifully year after year, serving homeowners across Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota Counties. New patio, upgraded pool deck, or an entirely new hardscape layout from scratch: our team has the expertise to get it right.
From the pool deck to the front walkway, every surface in your outdoor space tells a story, and we make sure yours tells the right one. We design and install a full range of hardscape solutions tailored to your property, your style, and Southwest Florida’s demanding conditions: the clean elegance of travertine pavers, the warmth of natural stone, the durability of brushed concrete, or the versatility of brick, with help choosing the right material and layout for your vision.
Our hardscapes do more than look good; they function. Proper drainage, slip-resistant surfaces around pool decks, heat-reflective materials for bare feet in the Florida sun, and seamless transitions between zones are part of every project. And because we also build the pools, outdoor kitchens, and pergolas your hardscape surrounds, everything is planned together from day one. The result is a backyard that feels cohesive, intentional, and built to be enjoyed. Stop by our Fort Myers showroom to see samples and finishes in person.
A stunning patio or pool deck is even more impactful surrounded by the right elements. Top your new patio with a custom pergola for shade and architectural style, or build an outdoor kitchen directly into your hardscape design for a fully integrated cooking and entertaining area that flows from pool deck to dining space.

Absolutely. We regularly design patios, pool decks, and hardscape upgrades around existing pools, whether you are replacing a worn surface (our pool decking and deck resurfacing team handles that side), expanding your deck, or adding new zones like a dining area or a fire features surround. Everything integrates with your existing pool and layout.
Florida’s climate is uniquely hard on outdoor surfaces: intense UV, extreme heat, heavy rainfall, high humidity, and salt air near the coast all affect how surfaces perform and age. We specifically select materials rated for these conditions: heat-reflective options that stay cooler underfoot around pool decks, slip-resistant finishes for wet areas, and materials that will not crack, fade, or deteriorate from moisture and sun. Proper drainage planning is a critical part of every design.
